Subject: CHILD'S A.M. Curriculum & Activities

Language Arts:  None.

Math Skills:  Review #s up to 10.  Thinking Skills - Worked on 60-piece puzzle w/ very little assistance (He did really well and was motivated.  He was so proud of himself.).

History:  Sang"7 Days of the Week" in a group and individually.  As you will notice this is sung on a daily routine.  We also discuss how time affects the day changes.

Gross Motor Skills:  Legos (10 mins.).

Computer:  Worked on "Muppets Order and Sort", activities:  Dressing in sequence, & bead sorting in a pattern; Jumpstart "Preschool", activities:  Picture, #, and letter, memorization, puzzle and patterning shapes.

Story Time:  "Georgie and the Magician."

Art:  Painted watercolors on a picture of an airplane (he did very well - beginning to understand the concept in painting inside the picture and not all over the page).

Arts & Craft:  We will be making a pencil/pen holder.  This will involve gluing and painting.

P.E.:  We will do our P.E. in the afternoon that will consist of tumbling, body rolling in a straight line, skipping, hopping, galloping, & jump-n-Jacks.

A.M. Activities:  Watched Disney's "PB & J Otter", free choice, and water play.  The kids had a ball, and I think CHILD missed playing in the water, because he was so active.

Breakfast:  Drank all of his milk and ate all of his pears, but he only ate half of his pancakes.

Lunch:  Ate all of his pasta (completely gone - he loved it), bread, grapes, and all of his milk, but ate half of his salad.  Grapes were not on the menu, but should have been.

P.M.  Snack, arts & craft, free choice, P.E., and outdoor play.

**We will be going to Discovery Science Center on Monday, and the cost for this field trip is $1.50.  I am targeting to finish the Vicky's Kids shirt by Monday so they can wear it on that day.

Have a Great Day!
